Toms Leads Bloomsburg Lacrosse to Win Over Slippery Rock

BLOOMSBURG - Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) scored six goals and added two assists to lead the Bloomsburg University lacrosse team to a 24-1 win over Slippery Rock University on Thursday.
Toms led 12 Bloomsburg scorers with her six goals, while Kelsey Quigley (Lansdale/Methacton) and Angie Picciotti (Chalfont/Central Bucks West) each added four goals. Meg Taylor (West Chester/West Chester) lead the team in assists with three, while Toms and Quigley each had two.
Bridget Maenner (Philadelphia/Little Flower) scored her first goal for the season, while also playing 15 minutes in goal for Bloomsburg. Also in goal, Justine Coleman (Media/Penncrest) saved two shots for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg returns to action on Saturday at Millersville at 1:00 p.m.
